Growing
up in Coconut Grove,
Florida, exposed me
to the beauty and imagery
of wildlife so bountiful
on the sea coast and
in the Everglades. This
fascination with the
images created by the
interplay of light upon
water eventually led
me to my first exposure
to colored glass, when
I was given scraps from
a demolished church.
Without proper tools,
my attempts were primitive
at best.
